China Intensifies Campaigns against Illegal Actions

Beijing, April 19 (KCNA) -- The Ministry of Public Security of China has waged special campaigns against the infringements upon the right to intellectual property and the production and sale of fake products and low quality goods since November of 2010.

These campaigns resulted in the discovery of 8,585 cases and the arrest of 14,185 suspected criminals across the country as of the end of March this year.

Meanwhile, 5,166 bases for the production of fake goods were discovered and destroyed.
