Present there from the DPRK side were Choe Thae Bok, member of the Political Bureau and secretary of the C.C., the WPK, Ri Ryong Nam, minister of Foreign Trade, Song Ja Rip, president of Kim Il Sung University and concurrently minister of Higher Education, and others and from the Mongolian side the members of the delegation of the Mongolian People's Party led by its General Secretary U. Khurelsukh and Ambassador Sodovjamts Khurelbaatar and staff members of the Mongolian embassy here.

At the talks, both sides informed each other of their party activities and exchanged views on the issue of further developing the relations between the two parties and other issues of mutual concern.
