Phenomena Witnessed in Mourning Days (3) Bird Stiffened to Death on Fir Tree Branch

| Pyongyang, January 11 (KCNA) -- After the sad news about the demise of leader Kim Jong Il was released in Korea on December 19, many people visited the Naedong Revolutionary Site in the town of Jasong County, Jagang Province to express deep condolences over his passing away. Next morning the grief-stricken people happened to see a bird sitting on a branch of a fir tree. Though they approached the tree, the bird did not fly. Then they knew that the bird was stiffened to death with its legs sticking on the branch. The fir tree stands a few meters from the spot where the leader posed for a photo with lecturers, when he visited the site some years ago. |
