The poems deal with the revolutionary life and feats of General Secretary Kim Jong Il and the ardent faith of the Korean People's Army and the people to remain boundlessly loyal to the leadership of the dear respected Kim Jong Un, true to his instruction.

Poems "Let us show love for the General's country", "The red flag represents our oath" and "May our burning hearts answer" deal with the intense loyalty to glorify the history of Kim Jong Il's immortality for all ages to fulfill their oath taken during the mourning.

The poems "Looking up to flag of Supreme Commander", "The first step of the Supreme Commander", "He is our supreme commander" and others fully reflect the excitement and joy over having the dear respected Kim Jong Un as the supreme commander of the revolutionary armed forces.

Poems "Forward, keeping pace with great brilliant commander!", "May great country of the sun tower higher" and others deal with the pledge to steadily carry forward the march of Mt. Paektu under the leadership of the respected Supreme Commander and demonstrate the might of the country over which the Songun Sun is shining.

Among the new poems are "May Country put forward this soldier" depicting the revolutionary spirit of a-match-for-a hundred soldiers and "We will spread silk with flower-patterns of all blessings" reflecting the proud appearance of the workers in the field of light industry.
