The work, published on October 3, Juche 79 (1990), expounds the idea that the leadership of the party provides a sure guarantee for the victory of the socialist cause, the matter of developing the WPK into a revolutionary party of Juche type, the basic ways for the Party to discharge its mission and duty as a leading political organization, etc.

Meanwhile, Kim Jong Il's work "Abuses of Socialism Are Intolerable" was brought out in booklet by the Russian Association for Development of Friendship and Cooperation with Foreign Countries.

The work, published on March 1, Juche 82 (1993), lays bare the reactionary nature and absurdity of the sophistic description of socialism as "totalitarian," "barracks-like" and "administrative and commanding" made by imperialists and renegades of socialism.

It also clarifies the principled matters arising in defending and accomplishing the cause of socialism, including the matters of maintaining an unshakable faith in socialism and regarding it as moral duty to defend it and giving full play to its advantages.
