The Bangladesh-Korea Friendship and Solidarity Committee carried an article titled "Leader Kim Jong Il Will Be Remembered Forever" on Jan. 31.

The DPRK manufactured and launched satellites and had access to nuke thanks to the energetic leadership of Kim Jong Il, the article said, adding:

He provided the historic June 15 north-south joint declaration with the idea of "By the Korean nation itself" as its core to usher in the June 15 era of reunification and open a bright prospect for national reunification.

The Bangladesh Group for the Study of the Songun Policy carried an article titled "The Illustrious Commander of Songun" in the bulletin of Feb. 1.

Kim Jong Il, leader of Korea, was a man possessed of unusual stratagem and matchless pluck. It was thanks to him that the United States could not avoid shameful defeats whenever there created touch-and-go situation on the Korean Peninsula, the article said.

He formulated the Songun politics as the basic political mode under socialism and led the socialism of the DPRK and global independence against imperialism to victory, it added.

The DPRK making steady victorious progress under the banner of Songun is greatly encouraging the people of the country aspiring after independence and is dynamically promoting the international socialist movement, it stressed.
