Coolant Leaks from Japan's Crippled Fukushima Reactor

Pyongyang, February 8 (KCNA) -- 8.5 tonnes of coolant leaked from the No. 4 reactor of Japan's Fukushima Daiichi Power Plant. Leakage also occurred from the building housing the reactor, according to Tokyo Electric Power Co.

A professor of the Tokyo Agricultural University, releasing the investigative results into forest in three cities of Fukushima Prefecture, said 2,300 becquerels of radioactive cesium was detected per kilogram of cryptomeria and 95,000 becquerels per kilogram of the bark of Chamaecyparis Obtusa.
