Iran Successfully Launches New Satellite into Orbit

| Tehran, February 7 (KCNA) -- Iran successfully launched its domestically-built Navid-e Elm-o Sanat satellite into orbit on Friday. The satellite was carried by the Iranian-made Safir satellite-carrier. This remote-sensing observation satellite is designed to take hi-res pictures of the globe and collect data on weather conditions. |
