Among the audience were Kim Yong Nam, Choe Yong Rim and other senior officials of the party and state, officials of party and power bodies, ministries and national institutions and Pyongyang citizens.

The performances were appreciated by overseas compatriots' organizations including the delegation of Koreans in Japan, overseas Koreans, foreign diplomatic envoys here and foreign guests.

The performers included the Chinese art troupe (song and dance ensemble of the General Political Department of the Chinese People's Liberation Army), Chinese circus group, female musicians Anakaona of Cuba, Army Ensemble of Mongolia, dance troupe of Kiev Dance Theatre, female trio "Appasionante" of Italy, "Surya Vocalia" of Indonesia, art troupe of the State Song and Dance Theatre of Vietnam and Quartet of Finland.

Foreign artistes presented mixed chorus of immortal revolutionary hymn "Song of General Kim Il Sung", female chorus "Song of Loyalty", female solo "Attraction" and mixed chorus "Footstep" in boundless reverence for President Kim Il Sung, General Secretary Kim Jong Il and the dear respected Kim Jong Un.

Also put on the stages were female trio "Habanera" from the opera "Carmen", male quartet "Boys Have Appeared on the Road Again," mixed chorus "I Cannot Tell It Yet" and other numbers.

Overseas Korean artistes in male solo "His Ideal", female solo "Think of the General" and other numbers vividly represented the strong yearning for leader Kim Jong Il, who made forced march of high intensity till the last moments of his life for the beloved people that President Kim Il Sung put under his care.

Dance "Footstep of Mt. Paektu" made the audience take firm pledges to successfully accomplish the revolutionary cause of Juche under the leadership of Kim Jong Un, holding the peerlessly great persons of Mt. Paektu in high esteem for all ages.

Floral baskets were conveyed to the performers in congratulation of their successful performances.
