Attending the event were Pak Yong Il, chairman of the Central Committee of the Korean Social Democratic Party, Kim Wan Su and Ri Jong Hyok, presidium members of the Central Committee of the Democratic Front for the Reunification of Korea, officials concerned, Pyongyangites and overseas compatriots.

They performed an ancestral sacrifice for Tangun.

Ri Myong Chol, vice-chairman of the Council for the Reunification of Tangun's Nation, made a report.

He said that Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un has demonstrated to the whole world the dignity and honor of the country and nation with the transparent idea of independence, rare political caliber and patriotic devotion true to the noble intention of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il.

He noted that the national reunification is the supreme national task which brooks no further delay, and called upon all the fellow countrymen to open up a broad avenue to independent reunification by fully displaying the great strength of the Tangun's nation and will for reunification.

He stressed that the cause of national reunification is certain to be accomplished thanks to Kim Jong Un, the peerlessly great man.
