The Central Committee of the CPC in the message warmly congratulated the WPK on its 8th Congress and, through the Congress, extended sincere greetings to all the members of the WPK and other Korean people on behalf of the CPC and the Chinese people at the time when the 8th WPK Congress will be held with splendor.

The message noted that the WPK is the reliable organizer and guide of the Korean revolution and construction.

It said that the WPK has registered historic achievements in the great course of propelling the socialist cause of Korea by rallying and leading the Korean people for a long period.

It stressed that under the firm leadership of the Central Committee of the WPK led by Chairman Kim Jong Un, the WPK has attached utmost importance to and intensified the efforts for the Party building and made such a series of important achievements as developing the economy, bettering the people's living standard, improving the external environment and effectively coping with the epidemic in recent years.

The message expressed sincere pleasure over the fact.

It said that the WPK 8th Congress, a great event for the Party and the political life of people of the DPRK, is of great significance in mapping out a strategic plan concerning the Party building and the national economic development in the DPRK and assigning tasks to be carried out for a certain period in the future.

It expressed the belief that the WPK and the Korean people would achieve ceaseless and fresh victory in the building of Korean-style socialism with the Congress as an occasion.

It noted that the two countries, China and the DPRK, are the friendly neighbors linked by the same mountain and rivers, and the two parties have long-standing good traditions of friendly exchanges and visits.

It said that in recent years, a new page has been written in the history of the China-DPRK relations, thanks to the strategic guidance and direct promotion by the top leaders of the two parties and the two countries.

It noted that under the new situation, the Chinese side, together with the DPRK side, is willing to successfully preserve, consolidate and develop the China-DPRK relations, guided by the important recognition shared by the top leaders of the two parties and the two countries, and thus provide the two countries and two peoples with bigger happiness and make fresh and positive contribution to realizing regional peace, stability, development and prosperity.
