The reporter referred to the fact that the Chairman visited the power station on Oct. 16, Juche 91 (2002) to learn in detail about the construction of the power station and its power generation and indicated its way.

He noted that the Chairman highly praised the people in Kangwon Province for building a splendid power station in a short span of time by displaying the revolutionary spirit of self-reliance and fortitude.

Saying that his on-the-spot guidance served as a significant occasion encouraging the people in the province to prepare themselves into those with strong mental power, the reporter mentioned the successes made by the power station over the last 20 years.

The reporter called on the officials and employees of the power station to continue adding luster to its honor as a unit associated with the leadership feats in the work for implementing the decisions of the 8th Party Congress and the plenary meetings of the Party Central Committee under the leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.
