The article said that the WPK has displayed its invincible might without the slightest vacillation and setback while overcoming severe hardships and trials for several decades.

Noting that the historic root of the WPK was already provided on October 17, 1926 when President Kim Il Sung formed the Down-with-Imperialism Union, the article referred to the fact that Kim Il Sung laid down his unique line on party founding and wisely guided its realization.

It further said:

The President saw to it that the Party was founded in the way of establishing its lower-echelon organizations through full preparation and steadily expanding them, not in the way of proclaiming the Party Central Committee first.

Under his guidance, the first Party organization was formed on July 3, 1930, and the organizational and ideological foundation for the founding of the Party was firmly consolidated in the days of the anti-Japanese revolution.

On the basis of such preparation, he achieved the historic cause of founding the WPK on October 10, 1945.

Stressing that the WPK has enjoyed the absolute support of the people, the article said:

The first factor is that the WPK shares the same destiny with the people and the second one is that the Party reflects the demands and interests of the people in its line and policy and completely implements them.

General Secretary Kim Jong Un clarified that making selfless, devoted efforts for the good of the people is none other than the mode of existence of the WPK and has tirelessly devoted himself for the people.

It is quite natural that the WPK has displayed its invincible might amid the support and trust of the people.
