Such conspicuous scene is unthinkable without the noble outlook of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) on the people.

Paying deep attention to the settlement of the passenger transport problem in Pyongyang, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un gave field guidance to the remodeled Pyongyang Trolley Bus Factory on January 31, Juche 107 (2018).

He opened up a prospect for updating the factory, associated with the leadership exploits of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il, as required by the new century and solved the knotty problems for it.

When the factory was successfully remodeled, he visited the factory to examine new-type trolley buses made by its workers. He gave teachings on further bettering their designs and making mark in a peculiar way, painting the buses in a cultured way and manufacturing every fittings well in reflection of the people's demand to make the trolley buses, a means of mass transport, into the ones representing the face of the capital city.

In August that year, he visited the factory again despite the sweltering weather and set forth an important task for building up its solid material and technical foundation to fully meet the demand for trolley buses not only in Pyongyang but also in the whole country and turning it into a prototype vehicle factory of the country.

True to his intention, the officials and employees of the factory have consolidated its material and technical foundations and achieved many successes in the production of new-type trolley buses over the last five years.

They are now displaying their mental strength of self-reliance and fortitude and inexhaustible creative ability to produce more trolley buses of new type so as to implement the decisions of the Sixth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the WPK.
