Pyongyang, January 31 (KCNA) -- New-type trolley buses running along streets of Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK, are associated with the devoted efforts made by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un to provide the people with better living conditions. One day in January Juche 107 (2018), he visited the Pyongyang Trolley Bus Factory to learn in detail about the performance of new-type trolley buses and the quality of their fittings. Praising the new-type buses as a proud outcome of the Korean workers' revolutionary spirit of self-reliance, he earnestly said that President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il would have been very pleased to see the happy looks of citizens going to work and coming back home by those trolley buses. He stressed the need to design the trolley buses better, mark them with peculiarity, paint them in a cultured way and make all fittings comfortable for the people to use, reflecting their demand so that the trolley bus, a means of mass transport, can represent the face of the capital city of Pyongyang. On one night a few days later, he made time to have a trial run of new-type trolley bus. Going round the city by bus, he called on all the officials accompanying him to carefully check if there is any shortcoming in the new-type trolley bus on the stand of its users, examining every element of it during the trial operation. His field guidance for the solution of the citizens' traffic problem continued in August that year when unprecedented sweltering weather lasted. In hearty response to his instructions, the workers and technicians of the Pyongyang Trolley Bus Factory have made progress in improving the quality of trolley buses and increasing their production. Today the new-type trolley buses are playing a big role in improving the citizens' traffic convenience, telling the warm love of the great father for the people. |
