North Hamgyong Province concentrated its efforts on enhancing the ability and level of lecturers to suit to the aim of the short course for generalizing new teaching methods created last year.

The province made the lecturers grasp profitable and advantageous teaching methods to complete the syllabi in close connection with the contents of textbooks. It also pushed ahead with the work to generalize the experience and successes by organizing the example class and collective critiques of teaching before starting the short course.

North Phyongan and North Hwanghae provinces and other areas, too, are striving to raise the efficiency of short courses.
