Present there were personages of Japanese organizations for the study of the Juche idea and Japan-Korea friendship organizations, officials of the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) and Korean University of Chongryon, the secretary general of the IIJI, secretary generals of the European Society for the Study of the Juche Idea and the Latin American Institute of the Juche Idea, a director of the Asian Regional Institute of the Juche Idea and others.

The IIJI director-general attended it through video conferencing.

Congratulatory messages were sent to the seminar from the Korean Association of Social Scientists, Director-General Edmond Jouve and Vice-Director-General Juha Kieksy of the European Society for the Study of the Juche Idea, Director General Harish Gupta of the Asian Regional Institute of the Juche Idea and other personages.

Kenichi Ogami, secretary general of the IIJI, presided over the seminar. Masaji Ie, adviser of the Japanese National Liaison Council of Societies for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism and Pak Ku Ho, first vice-chairman and director of the Organizational Department of the Central Standing Committee of Chongryon made speeches.

Pak Ku Ho said that the socialist cause of Juche, the cause of independence against imperialism, has made steady progress without any frustration, though mankind underwent unprecedented twists and turns like the collapse of socialism in various countries.

The global independence has become an irreversible trend of the times, he said, adding that the role of the IIJI has become more important.

Lectures were given at the seminar.

Speakers praised the noble personality of President Kim Il Sung as a great man and his exploits. And they referred to the proud reality of the DPRK advancing under the banner of independence, noting that the study and dissemination of the Juche idea have been steadily conducted despite the worldwide political upheaval.

A letter to the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un was adopted at the seminar.
