Many officials, Party members, other working people and youth and students from hundreds of units attended it.

The Central Cadres Training School of the Workers' Party of Korea took the lead. Also among the study tour groups were Pyongyang City Party School, South Hwanghae Provincial Party School, North Hamgyong Provincial Party School and other provincial Party schools.

Party organizations of ministries and national institutions and provincial, city and county Party committees also took part in the study tour.

Universities included Kim Il Sung University, Pyongyang University of Medicine, Pyongyang University of Architecture whose teaching staff and students vowed to defend the revolutionary traditions of Paektu forever and glorify them generation after generation.

Pyongyang Information Technology Bureau and other scientific research sectors as well as major sectors of the national economy also organized the study tour groups which heightened the revolutionary enthusiasm of its members to build a socialist power of Juche on this land as early as possible, by thoroughly arming themselves with the indomitable revolutionary spirit of Paektu.

Officials of the central committees of the youth league, the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea and the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea were also among the participants.

Going round the trees bearing slogans and other relics, they hardened the spirit of defending the leader unto death and the tradition of loyalty displayed by the forerunners. The revolutionary song chorus contest, the meeting to hear impressions of the reminiscences of anti-Japanese guerrillas and a question-and-answer study contest all helped keenly realize once again that there would be no insurmountable difficulty if they maintain the same spirit of the revolutionary optimism and confidence in victory as were possessed by the first generation of the revolution.
