Successes Achieved in Embankment Project for Sokhwa Tideland Reclamation

Pyongyang, May 22 (KCNA) -- Innovations have been witnessed in the embankment project for the Sokhwa Tideland reclamation in hearty response to the resolutions of the Eighth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea and plenary meetings of the Party Central Committee on increasing the area of cropland by concentrating efforts on tideland reclamation.

Soldier-builders are ensuring the quality and speed of the project by introducing valuable innovation proposals and increasing the operation rate of vehicles.

Members of the Ri Su Bok Youth Shock Brigade of the North Phyongan Provincial Tideland Reclamation General Enterprise have carried out large-scale blasting of 200,000 cubic meters of earth to secure a large amount of rubble stones and soil.
