Symposium on Science and Technology in Field of Hothouse Vegetables-2023

| Pyongyang, June 20 (KCNA) -- The Symposium on Science and Technology in the Field of Hothouse Vegetables-2023 took place in the DPRK through video-conferencing from June 13 to 19, under the sponsorship of the Korean Association for Vegetable Technology affiliated to the Central Committee of the General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea. It was attended by scientists, technicians, teachers, researchers, field officials and others from dozens of units, including the Academy of Agricultural Science, Wonsan University of Agriculture and provincial rural economy committees. It reviewed the research work and production in the past one year. Presented to it were more than 80 research proposals conducive to boosting the greenhouse vegetable production including new vegetable strains and cultivation technology invented by the participants. During the symposium, there were sci-tech lectures and video watching. |
