The book contains 75 works including historic talks and letters made public by the Chairman from January to October Juche 85 (1996).

In those works he clarified the need to hold in high esteem for all ages President Kim Il Sung whom the Korean people acclaimed for the first time in their history of thousands of years and to accomplish the revolutionary cause of Juche to the last.

He also proved on a scientific basis that the Juche philosophy is the revolutionary and political philosophy of our Party and indicated the orientation and ways for preserving and adding brilliance to the immortal exploits performed by the President for the youth movement and developing the youth movement onto a new high stage.

Some of the works deal with the ideas that all the officials should live and struggle in the spirit of the Arduous March with the Juche outlook on life and the People's Army should bring about a revolutionary turn in rounding off the combat preparations and improving the servicepersons' living by learning from the fighting spirit of the wartime heroic soldiers in order to add eternal luster to the exploits performed by the President in leading the army.

Also contained in the book are works comprehensively dealing with the theoretical and practical issues arising in the revolutionary struggle, including the issue of establishing a communist moral trait throughout society and the issue of bringing about a fresh turn in land management.
