The national power and prestige of the DPRK getting stronger and rapidly developing despite the stern difficulties in the new century of Juche are a clear demonstration of the energetic leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), says the article, adding:

The WPK has directed primary efforts to further consolidating the single-minded unity in the same idea and purpose and with morality and sense obligation, as required by the times of succession and development of the revolution in the new century of Juche.

All the people have made concerted efforts to carry out all the measures taken by the state unconditionally, achieving the unity of thought and action and voluntarily keeping pace with each other. Despite the ever-worsening hardship and difficulties, they help one another and share woes with each other, regarding the Party and the state's troubles and concern as their own. Such beautiful virtue and traits of our society serve as the source of great national power.

Over the past decade our Party has won great victories and miracles in the struggle for bringing about the overall development of the country by giving full play to the mental strength of the masses, holding fast to the Juche-oriented theory of giving importance to ideology that nothing is impossible if the masses are ideologically motivated.

It is an unshakable will of our Party that we can always emerge victorious when the people are awakened and motivated ideologically.

To secure powerful potentiality for development is a sure guarantee for achieving the independent and dynamic advance of the country in the face of any obstacles and difficulties.

The DPRK has turned into a socialist country with independent national economy and self-reliant defence capabilities thanks to the strong courage and energetic leadership of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il.

No force can block the dynamic advance of our country toward comprehensive prosperity, supported by the tremendous national power accumulated under the leadership of the ever-victorious WPK.
