Various cage-net fish farming units in Pyongyang Municipality introduced advanced artificial insemination method to conduct incubation in a scientific and technological way and directed efforts to ensuring the temperature and quality of water.

The Sijung County fish breeding farm and other units in Jagang Province have raised a lot of fry by solving the feed problem with locally available raw materials.

Different fish breeding farms in North and South Hwanghae provinces secured high-yielding adult fish and raised the survival rate of fry by making mixed feed with high digestibility.

Similar achievements have been witnessed at the Nampho Fishery Station and various fish farming units in North Hamgyong Province.
