Timber Production Boosted in DPRK
| Pyongyang, July 25 (KCNA) -- Officials and workers of the Ryanggang Provincial Forestry Management Bureau of the DPRK, who turned out as one in the struggle for implementing the resolutions made at the plenary meetings of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, are putting spurs to the production and transport of timber needed for rural housing construction.
Impressing the masses with the intention of the Party, the officials of the management bureau are scrupulously organizing the economic work and intensifying the guidance so that all the processes are in gear.
Forestry and pit-timber production stations are making collective and joint innovations.
The Phungso Forestry Station has systematically increased the volume of cutting by tapping internal reserves and introducing advanced working methods.
The Kapsan Forestry Station has reviewed and evaluated the daily production while generalizing the experience of advanced units.
Workers of the Songam and Sinmyong timber felling stations have pushed ahead with the timber production at the final stage by introducing efficient cutting method suitable for the topographical conditions of felling sites and making effective use of labor, equipment and materials.
The workers of the Yuphyong Forestry Station are bringing about good results while introducing effective working methods.
The Yonam Mine Timber Production Station has piled timbers in a railway station by raising the actual operation rate of forest railway engines.
