Public Anger at Nuclear War Racket Flares up in Region of South Korean Puppets
Pyongyang, July 25 (KCNA) -- People from all walks of life across the region of the south Korean puppets are intensifying their struggle to oust Yoon Suk Yeol-led group of traitors bringing the dark clouds of a nuclear war to the Korean peninsula, pursuant to the U.S. scenario.

Organizations in the Pusan area launched a no-war struggle on July 19 calling for the withdrawal of the U.S. troops and ouster of traitor Yoon amid the ceaseless demonstrations of civic organizations before the U.S. embassy and in Ryongsan of Seoul in protest against the U.S. and Yoon Suk Yeol-led puppet regime's frantic moves to ignite a nuclear war.

The organizations held a press conference in front of the U.S. consulate. Speakers there charged that the U.S. has gone beyond the tolerance limit in its moves to ignite a nuclear war on the Korean peninsula by bringing nuclear strategic assets one after another.

The belligerent Yoon Suk Yeol regime's moves to provoke a nuclear war are inciting the U.S. war hysteria, the organizations said.

The 49th candlelight rally for ousting traitor Yoon was held in Seoul on July 22.

Present there were workers, peasants, poor people, students, religionists and many other people from all walks of life from different areas.

The Peace Action, the metal workers' union, the teachers' union and other organizations held rallies in different parts of Seoul to declare their no-war action for the withdrawal of the U.S. forces and ouster of traitor Yoon.

The Peace Action, composed of more than 700 civic, public, religious and pro-peace organizations, held a meeting calling for defusing the danger of war and hostility and achieving peace.

The participants declared that they would stage intensive action until August 15. They called for driving out the U.S. forces disturbing peace and bringing down the Yoon regime, saying that peace is the desire of everyone irrespective of the ideological differences between conservatism and progress.

A civic organization, composed of organizations of workers, peasants, poor people and others, held a rally, where they insisted that the withdrawal of the U.S. forces and the resignation of Yoon are the tasks of the times the implementation of which can not be delayed even a moment.

Then a general rally took place in front of Kwanghwamun.

Speakers at the rally said that the ceaseless military drills staged by the U.S. and Japan are aimed to foment the permanent division of the Korean nation.

Candlelight rallies took place in Taegu and other areas.

Religionists in Taejon and Sejong cities and South Chungchong Province held prayer meetings on July 23, where they prayed for the end of war and establishment of a peace-keeping mechanism.
