Present at the symposium, held on the theme of improving the quality of medical appliances, were officials, scientists, technicians, teachers and researchers from Kim Chaek University of Technology, the Dental Hospital of the Ministry of Railways, the North Hwanghae Provincial General Hospital and other units.

The symposium heard papers dealing with the scientific and technological issues arising in producing high-quality medical equipment and appliances conducive to protecting and promoting the lives and health of the people.

Drawing the attention of the participants and experts were sci-tech achievements made in the development of dental and otolaryngological treatment apparatuses.
