Present at the seminar on the theme of "The Workers' Party of Korea-glorious history of 78 years" were personages of the Brazilian Communist Party, the Brazilian Center for the Study of Songun Politics and the Brazilian Branch of the Korean Friendship Association.

Members of political parties, social organizations, organizations for the study of the Juche idea and organizations for friendship and solidarity with the Korean people in Brazil watched a seminar.

Rosanita Campos, member of the National Political Committee of the Brazilian Communist Party, said that the WPK's history of 78 years is the glorious history in which it has developed into the Party of the leader, and the immortal history of loving for the people in which it has advanced the revolution and construction with the Juche idea as its guideline, adding that the revolutionary idea of President Kim Il Sung has turned the Workers' Party into a genuine motherly Party taking care of the people in a responsible manner. He also noted that the WPK greeted a new heyday of its development as it is led by HE Kim Jong Un.

Lucas Rubio, chairman of the Brazilian Center for the Study of Songun Politics, said that the WPK firmly adhered to the Juche principle despite arduous ordeals, adding that it would be unthinkable without the tireless leadership of HE Kim Jong Il. He praised the peerlessly great man for setting a centuries-old example of building the leader's party for the first time in the history of building the working-class party and developed the WPK into a veteran and seasoned general staff of the revolution.

The official representative of the Brazilian Branch of the Korean Friendship Association said that the WPK clearly showed through its historic struggle the immutable truth that justice is alive in the world and no force can block the trend of the times toward anti-imperialist independence and socialism.
