Present there were Ri Chol Man, vice-premier of the Cabinet and chairman of the Agricultural Commission, Ri Tu Song, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials of the Agricultural Commission, the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea and the units participating in the emulation and labor innovators.

Han Jong Hyok, chairman of the Central Committee of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea, made a reviewing report.

He noted that the fruit farms over-fulfilled their production plans by inspiring great enthusiasm for socialist emulation to attain the fruit-production goal set forth by the Party last year.

The successes achieved through the socialist emulation are a precious outcome of the wise leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who has worked heart and soul for the development of the country's fruit culture, the reporter stressed.

He called for bringing about a great turn in the fruit production this year and thus making a positive contribution to the improvement of people's livelihood.

The meeting introduced the successes, made by many units in growing high-yielding fruit trees and establishing advanced cultivation techniques, and shared good experience.

The rankings were announced.

Citations and rotating pennants in the joint name of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and the Cabinet of the DPRK were conferred on Pukchong County, Onchon Fruit Farm and Toksong Apple Farm.
