Efforts Made for Increased Coal Production

| Pyongyang, July 7 (KCNA) -- The Jonchon Coal Mine in Jagang Province of the DPRK plays an important role in developing the provincial economy and improving its people's living standards. Its workers have turned out in an increased production drive to carry out the plan for the second half of the year. The Onjong Pit has operated electric trams, compressors and other equipment at full capacity and remodeled the coal unloading ground to increase the productivity. Similar successes are made at other pits of the mine. |
