In the message the Ugandan president extended congratulations and greetings, on behalf of the Ugandan government and people and on his own behalf, to Kim Jong Un and the DPRK government and people on the occasion of the day of national liberation.

Noting that the two countries have always cooperated to attain their common goal, he hoped that more opportunities for cooperation would be provided, including the work of strengthening the ties between the two peoples.

He also expressed his optimistic view that the traditional and close relations between the two peoples would continue to grow stronger in the future.

He heartily wished Kim Jong Un good health and happiness and the DPRK people steady progress and prosperity.
